He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Matson and Margaret Matson (Jacobson); his daughter Rose; and his brother-in-law Vern Wittlinger. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Matson; his daughter Melanie Cherny (Michael Sullivan); his stepchildren, Robbie, Leslie, Keith and Bridger; his children, Jennie, Sara and Meg; his grandchildren, Alexus, Carlitos, Silas and Willow; his great grandchildren, Hayley, Hayzel, Xavier, Emilio and Isabelle; and his sisters, Audrey Johnson (Stanley), Darlene Wittlinger and Rita Fearnow. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
