She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Spaulding and Lorraine Spaulding (Van De Hey); her husband Frederick Raether; her siblings, Leroy Spaulding and Donna Grage; her nephew Allen Dains; and her niece Cindy Niemuth.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Bartel and Jolene Green; her brother Glen Spaulding; her grandchildren, Brady, Dillon, Sawyer and Teagan Bartel; her nieces and nephews, Don Dains, Matthew, Chadwick Spaulding, Oliver Spaulding, Paige Dudovick, Amanda Grage, Martin, Arden Niemuth and Emily Fleming; and her cockapoo Skippy. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
There will be a luncheon/celebration of life for both Karen and Fred, who passed on April 3, 2020 during the Covid pandemic.
