He was predeceased by: his father Dean Franks; and his grandparents, Doris Rehak and James Rehak, Sr.. He is survived by: his friend Jason; his mother Victoria Franks; his husband Samuel Markert; his sister Lisa Franks-Jansson; his brother-in-law Eric Jansson; his niece Arya; his nephew Aidan; his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Pamela Markert; and his sister-in-law Kendall Markert. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
