He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Foertsch and Florence Foertsch; his wife Jean Foertsch; his son Jerry Hankey; his son-in-law Christopher Lien (Kenneth Foertsch); his sister Delores Schmitz; and his siblings-in-law, MaryAnn Foertsch and John Schmitz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Lien and Lori Stoltz (Randy Pinsch); his grandchildren, Julie Jarvis (Brian), Laurie Pritzl (Dan) and Zach Lien (Karla); his great grandchildren, Brandon, Claire, Luke, Brielle, Izetta and Benjamin; his nephews, Doug Foertsch (Patti), Brian Foertsch (DeeAnne) and Darrell Foertsch; and his niece Debra Demmitt (Mel). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
