He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Sr. Volkmann and Bertha Volkmann (Buell); his son Charles; and his former wife Linda. He is survived by: his wife Jan; and his son Bryan. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
