With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Darlene L. Engbretson of Waupaca, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Darlene left this world on March 11, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Darlene leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Darlene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hoffman and Emma Hoffman (Perlick); her siblings, Donald Hoffman and Marie Jahnke; her former husband Robert Engbretson; and her son-in-law Steven Hupfer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Janssen (Michael) of Green Bay, WI and Sandra Hupfer of De Pere, WI. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
