Barbara Lorraine Volk Obituary
In loving memory of Barbara Lorraine Volk of Waupaca, Wisconsin, who departed this world on December 4, 2024 at the age of 86. Barbara leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kerkove and Maude VanDee Kerkove (Henry); and her husband Maurice Eugene "Gene" Volk. She is survived by: her children, Eugene Volk, Theresa Turzinski, Michelle Bowden (Ron), Leanne Turzinski (Daniel), Robert Volk (Debra) and Brian Volk. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; one sister, many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church of Waupaca (N2845 Shadow Rd, Waupaca, WI 54981). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Whispering Pines Assisted Living activity center in Barb's name, where Barb loved to participate in various activities and events.
