It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Frederick Wichelt in Waunakee, Wisconsin, born in Beloit, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 14, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Wichelt and Clara Wichelt (Lubbert); and his wife Beverly. He is survived by: his children, Brian Wichelt (Wendy), LuAnn Thering (Jeff) and Kayse Grimm (Karl); and his grandchildren, Jacki, T. J. (Val), Rebecca, Luke Thering and Wyatt Wichelt.

Full military honors at the church will follow the Mass. The family welcomes you to wear your favorite baseball or Chicago Cubs attire to the church in Wayne's honor!In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Sacred Hearts Cemetery Fund, 221 Columbus Street, Sun Prairie, WI (https://pushpay.com) or St. Jude Children's Hospital Research.
