He was predeceased by: his parents, John Laufenberg and Rose Laufenberg (Meinholz); his sisters, Inez Ballweg and Bernice Breunig; and his grandson Jason Laufenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Antoinette Frederick; his children, Fred (Mary) of Waunakee, Jim (Julie) of Belleville, Dave (Kate) of Waunakee, Mary Johnson of Florida and Sharon Knowles (Mark) of Arizona; and his siblings, Ralph (Carol) and Florentine Breunig (Al). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
