He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Wipperfurth and Christine Wipperfurth; his wife Kay Kippley; his siblings, Toky, Joanie Statz and Sister Mary Jane; and his siblings-in-law, Margie Wipperfurth, Paul Schlimgen, Harry Statz and James Stewart.

He is survived by: his children, Deb Helt (Dave), Sandi Zellner (Brad), Russ Wipperfurth (Janet), Teri Reible (Neal) and Jim Wipperfurth (Lynn Grych); his grandchildren, Judy, David, Jeff, Ben, Dan, Nicki, Rachel, Carissa, Karlie, Elizabeth, Jake and Jesse; his siblings, Lorraine Schlimgen and LeRoy; and his sister-in-law Claire Stewart. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
