He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene Smithback; his parents, Orval Bills and Agnes Bills; his son Robert Jr.; his brothers, Harold and Orval Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Laverne Greiber, Russell Smithback, Robert Smithback, George Carpenter, Claudine Bills and Nancy Smithback Kopplin.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Noll (John); his grandson Matthew Noll (Amanda); his great grandchild Penelope Noll; his siblings, Arline Carpenter, Mary Greiber, LeRoy Bills (Sheila) and Patricia Weaver (Bob); his sister-in-law Loras Smithback; and his close friend Rose.
