Richard J. Murphy Obituary

The memory of Richard J. Murphy (Waunakee, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Murphy and Blanche Murphy (Buechner); his brother Raymond Murphy; and his great grandchild Grace Marie Schwab-Ziegler. He is survived by: his wife Donna Murphy (Lyneis); his children, Linda Schwab (Howie), Mike Murphy (Carol), Dan Murphy (Karen), Steve Murphy (Nedi Graf) and PJ Murphy (Michele); his sisters, Marian Dean, Barbara Hayes, Joan Ace and Patricia Statz; and his friend Dr. Ranum. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St John's Catholic Church (209 South St, Waunakee, WI 53597). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Rex's Innkeeper (301 N Century Ave, Waunakee, WI 53597).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established by the family at a later date.
