He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Annen. He is survived by: his mother Florence Annen (Frisch); his wife Susan Backus; his daughter Meredith Ziino (John); his granddaughter Kaylee Annen-Ziino; his siblings, Dennis Annen (Joan), Linda Annen and Janice Brady (Thomas); his nephew Benjamin (Christine); and his siblings-in-law, Alan Backus (Jane) and Kay Backus.
