He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Bernards and Adelaide Bernards (Wagner); his wife Wilma Johnson; and his siblings, John Bernards, Mary Bernards, Hubert, William, Joseph Bernards, Elizabeth Schneider (Francis) and Agnes Long (Theodore).
He is survived by: his children, Patti Lee (Peter), Mike Bernards and Don Bernards (Cathy); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jamie Lee, Megan Bernards, Thomas Bernards (Meghan Clary), Luke, Annie and Jane Bernards; and his sister-in-law Marguerite Bernards.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, only 80 people are allowed into the funeral home at one time. Social distancing and face masks will be required.
