He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Breunig (Debra) and Diane Zander (Steve); his fiancé Carly Cappel; his children, Kyler Breunig and Joella Breunig; his siblings, Meghan Zufall, Mike Breunig (Casey), Heather Asbjornson (Jon) and Heidi Kopps (Kevin); his grandparents, Henry "Bud" Zander, Mary Breunig and Don Dahmen; his nieces and nephews, Sam, Audrey, Brooks, Cody, Nolan and Brynn; his parents-in-law, Kevin and Mary Cappel; his brother-in-law Nic Cappel (Knatashia); and his nephews, Knox and Knight. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.
