She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Swanson and Wanda Swanson (Lipczynski); and her brother Doug Swanson. She is survived by: her husband Randy Gest; her daughters, Kristin Statz (Jake) of Martinsville and Ashley Gest (Kevin Schuetz) of Sun Prairie; her siblings, Sue Swanson of Freeport and Jim Swanson (Cindy) of Brookfield; her brother-in-law Jeff Gest (Jane) of Poynette; and her grandchildren, Braydon, Sophie and Matson Statz.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home (5785 Co Rd Q, Waunakee, WI 53597).
