He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" (Wipperfurth); his children, Katherine Thompson of DeForest, Gary Thompson (Barb) of Sun Prairie and Viki Prochaska (Dave) of Waunakee; his grandchildren, Chad Nachtigal (Alex), Justin Nachtigal, Bill Thompson, Caitlin Prochaska and Mathew Prochaska; his sister Ellen Sutherland; his parents, Anna Thompson (Mickelson) and Andrew Thompson; his siblings, Betty Strander (late Ernie), Harold Thompson (late Wilma), Thomas Thompson (late Buella) and Sidner Thompson (late Cora); and also, Appledorn Sutherland and Alice Sutherland (late Elmer). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
