Leonard McGowan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard McGowan of Waunakee, Wisconsin, born in Poynette, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McGowan and Elizabeth McGowan (Schubring); his children, Michael McGowan and Barbara McGowan; and his siblings, Clara McGowan, Edward McGowan and Anna Sjoberg.

He is survived by: his children, Joan McGowan Merlin (Curt Merlin), Patrick McGowan (Carol) and Daniel McGowan (Debbie); his grandchildren, Jenna McGowan, Kate Merlin, Carly McGowan, Molly Killen (Matthew), Abby McGowan, Aleah McGowan, Sarah McGowan and Jack McGowan; his former wife Monica Paffenroth (Jerry); and his siblings, Geraldine Moede, Elizabeth Sundt and Thomas McGowan (Beverly). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
