We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2023 we had to say goodbye to LaVerne J. Statz of Waunakee, Wisconsin, born in Madison, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Statz and Mary Statz; his son Anthony LaVerne Statz; his grandsons, Jared Karls and Bradley Simon; his parents-in-law, Johanna and John Bollig; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Pomeranke, Edward Bollig, Richard Bollig, Darrell Pomeranke and Donald Pomeranke.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Bollig; his daughters, Sherry Karls (LaVern), Kathy Simon (Phil) and Lora Clemens (Robert); his grandchildren, Carrie Ottosen (Rick Smith), Gregg Karls (Jolene), Kent Karls (Ben), Paul Simon (Randi), Kelly Stuhr (Nick), Andrea Simons (Matt) and Mark Clemens (Shae); and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Lange (Ronald), Jan Pomeranke and Mary Tveit (John). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
