John Schuetz Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Schuetz and Ingaborg Schuetz (Ustad); his parents-in-law, Erwin and Florentine Schwenn; his son-in-law David McDonald; his siblings, Phyllis Roth, Robert Schuetz, Leslie Schuetz, Margaret Loomis, Paul Schuetz and Donald Schuetz; his in-laws, Alois Roth, Doris Schuetz (Laughenberg), Reva Schuetz (Hosted) and Bud Loomis; his cousins, Carol (Leeder), Lloyd, Russell and Ronald Schuetz; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas and John Schwenn.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Schwenn of Schmitty's Bowling Alley; his sisters, Barbara Van Alstine (Bud) and Janet Schuetz; his children, Lisa Schuetz, Lori Ramirez (Miguel), Heidi Bingham (Andrew), Holly Schuetz and John Schuetz, Jr. (Becki); his grandchildren, Steven, Jordan (Jacky), Christopher McDonald, Amanda Michaels (Brian), Grace, Leeland Bingham, Brianne Rybkin, Delaney Van Dinter, Caden Lincicum, Brenna, John "Jack" Schuetz, Isabel Meidl Helmkamp (Jordan), Colin and Eden Meidl; his great grandchildren, Josslynn, Brandon, Emma, Lucas, Wren, Gabriel and Elias; and his siblings-in-law, James, Lora Schwenn, Charles, MaryAnn Schwenn, Mary, John Daggett, Marilyn Schuetz and Marilee Schuetz.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (209 South St, Waunakee, WI 53597). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Donations may be made in John's honor to the Dane County Humane Society and American Heart Foundation.
