He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliott Howard Parks and Angela Parks (Collins); his wife Helen Ruth Lowry; his brother John; his sister-in-law Margaret; his sister Marian (William); his siblings-in-law, Bert Weidinger, Fritz Lowry, Marie Lowry and Ann Lowry; his son Danny; and his children-in-law, Tony Spraggand and Fran Parks (Killips).
He is survived by: his children, Alan (Jean), Frank, Katie, Elizabeth (Willard Hanson), Christopher (Caroline Jam), Howard (Sammy Chick) and Matthew (Linda); his sister Evelyn Weidinger; and his sister-in-law Etta Johnson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
