He is survived by: his wife Kathleen of Waunakee; his children, Linda Gissing (David) of Monroe and Joel Mittelstaedt (Karen) of Roxbury; his grandchildren, Brandon, Garret, Kelly Mittelstaedt (Edergton), Tim Christianson of Madison, Peter Christianson (Robin) of Waunakee, Drew, Hailey and Erin Christianson Edgerton (Jason Lenzer); his siblings, LaNita Sheil (Wayne), Diane Wafle, Dewey Mittelstaedt (Gloria) and Puny Mittelstaedt (Holly); and his sister-in-law Joan Mittelstaedt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and greatnephews.
