He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Heyroth and Odelia Heyroth (Schroeder); his wife Lucy Ziegler; his daughter-in-law Lisa Heyroth; his grandson Jeremy Wilson; his siblings, Roger (Charlotte) and Maxine Rose (Gene); and his siblings-in-law, Bud Ziegler (Arlene), Peter Ziegler, Laverne Ballweg, Mary Ziegler, Casey Herbrand (Mel), Rose Kalscheur (Art), Ruth Ziegler, Sara Statz (Don) and Tina Lorge (Jerry).

He is survived by: his children, David, Bob (Candy), Jean Gallagher (Jim), Joan (Todd Hahn), June Gibson (Brad), Tom (Tracy), Tim (Rita) and Jennifer Maier (Jeff); his close friend Dar Dederich; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Ziegler, Margie Piffl (Vic) and Agnes Endres (Ken). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
