He is survived by: his parents, Wandell Vleet and Chester Van Vleet; his wife Peggy Slater Van Vleet; his siblings, Chet and Penney (Jack); his children, Tom (Becky), Deborah (Ron) and Laurie (Steve); and his sister Bay.
