Daniel A. Scheunemann Obituary
Daniel Scheunemann, age 63, passed away on March 18, 2025 at his home in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He was born on July 12, 1961, in Massachusetts, the son of Howard and Agnes Scheunemann. He was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle.
Daniel graduated from Oconomowoc High School in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin in 1980. He began his career at Price Engineering nearly 36 years ago in 1989. He was a dedicated member of the engineering team as an Electrical Designer. He was always willing to go above and beyond to help anyone in need, and had a generous and kind spirit for others. He was an avid outdoorsman, and was the happiest when he was in the woods hunting or fishing. He loved spending summers up North with his sister and his family. He had a big heart for dogs, and his dog, Dixie, was his world.
Daniel is survived by his sister Melody (Stephen) Sladky, his stepson Daniel (Angionette) Hansen, his stepdaughter Alysha (Ryan) Danko, his nieces Lindsay (Stephen) O'Morrow, Katie (Thomas) Trefftzs, his nephews Nathan (Rebecca) Sladky, Nicholas (Ashley) Sladky, grandchildren, and great nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Howard and Agnes Scheunemann, and his partner, Anne Forkes.
Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 10 AM on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Schmidt and Bartelt Funeral Home, 121 S Cross St, Oconomowoc. Burial to follow at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia. Memorials to HAWS (Humane Animal Welfare Society) of Waukesha County are appreciated.
