She was predeceased by: her father James Nevin; her husbands, Joe Sasso and Bill Goeman; her daughter Micholina Sasso (Mickie); her brothers, Harold and Melvin Earl Nevin; her half-siblings, Wellington Lewis, Madeline Soma and Dorothy George; and her stepchildren, William, James and Sandy Nimm.
She is survived by: her mother Josephine Nevin (Whiteford); her stepdaughter Nichole Britten; and her nieces and nephews, Harold Nevin (Anita), Ronald Nevin (Bridget), Jacqueline Pauley, David Nevin and Geraldine Stauber (Frank).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Baptist Church, HAWS, and the Jefferson County Humane Society in Carol's name are welcome.
