She was predeceased by: her spouse Russell Waypa; her son Tim Sankey (Debbie); her grandson Jon Sankey; her parents, Herbert Braatz and Clara Braatz; and her siblings, Ruth Dare (late Howard), Grace Seefeldt (late Don), Harvey Braatz and David Braatz (Susan).
She is survived by: her children, Roger Sankey (Judy) of Waukesha, Harold Sankey of Palm Coast, Gary Sankey (Chris) of Elkorn, Mary Hake of The Villages and Cynthia Radosevich (Thomas) of Mukwonago; her grandchildren, Matt Sankey, Ronald Sankey (Maria), Adam Sankey, Michelle Garcia (Chris), Stephanie Kindler (Kevin), Brian Sankey (Adrienne), Daniel Sankey, Maegan Jacob (Larry), Anthony Sankey, Laura Sankey, Jennifer Sherman (Jason), James Hake, Jessica Radosevich, Jason Radosevich (Melissa) and Amy Radosevich; and her siblings, Betty Fehrman (late Gerald) of Waukesha, Frank Braatz (Joyce) of Portage and Richard Braatz of Oxford. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church and Chapel Funeral Home-New Berlin (15250 W National Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be preferred.
