He was predeceased by: his father Walter Henry Thompson; and his grandparents, Donald Schultz and Phylis Bittner. He is survived by: his mother Jody Ortega (Cruz Sr.) of Waukesha; his grandmother Elly Schultz of North Freedom; and his siblings, Alisha Robles of Waukesha, Alex Ehlinger of Maryland, Cruz Ortega (Erin) of Milton, Juanita Ortega of Milwaukee, Christine Branstrom (Erik) of Marinette, Tina Veriha (Jeff) of Marinette, Larry Thompson of Missouri and Grace Wilson (Jonathan) of Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
