He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Wesner and June Wesner (Grant); his granddaughter Sommer; and his brothers, Rex Wesner (Gloria) and Kalvin Wesner.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Wesner and Curtis Wesner; and his siblings, Brad Wesner, Walter Wesner, Willy Wesner (Pam), Gail Ewald (Duane) and Cindy Wesner (Randy Surma).
