He was predeceased by: his son Scott Laehr; and his sister Marjorie Lockett (Ralph). He is survived by: his wife Marlys of Watertown; his children, Pete Laehr (Patricia) of Watertown, Vickie Wendt (Steve) of Watertown and Tim Laehr (Linda) of Watertown; his grandchildren, Chad Laehr (Shawn), Jodi Budwit (Mark), Melissa Falk (Patrick), Tracy Peterson (Greg), Kaitlyn Bergin (Jay) and Ryan Laehr; his niece Laura Lockett (Ron Horner); and his nephew Gordon Lockett. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated.
