She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Groeler and Anna Groeler (Groth); her husband Herbert Zastrow; her son Steven Zastrow; her grandson Chad Zastrow; her great grandchild Nicholas Borchardt; her siblings, Arthur, Walter, Esther Korth, Hilda Henschel and Amanda Damrow; and her son-in-law Ronald Schlesner.
She is survived by: her children, Grace Borchardt (Frank), Larry Zastrow, Harvey Zastrow, James Zastrow (Mary), Shirley Schlesner and Bonnie Peirick (David). She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, 9 step Great-Grandchildren, 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great Step Grandchildren.
Memorials in Viola's honor to St. John's Lutheran Church or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
