He is survived by: his wife Carol Ruesch; his sons, Andrew (Victoria), Thomas "Fred", Joseph and John Penza (Amy); his grandchildren, Simone (Jenna), Christopher (April), Xavier, Dimitri and Edison Penza; his great grandchildren, Elliot and Ian Penza; and his siblings, Joan Hensgen (Richard), James (Linda), Mary Davitz (Harold), Diane Horgan (Alan) and Frank (Cheri). He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
