He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Griep and Alice Griep (Pawelski). He is survived by: his wife Joan Birk; his daughters, Ashley and Dana; his stepchildren, Carla, Nancee, Robert and Susan; and his siblings, Roger Griep (Judy) and Pamela Theder (Pat). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
