He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Earl Martens and Viola Martens (Adler). He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Fenner; his sons, Daniel Martens (Laura), Jeffrey Martens (Kathleen) and David Martens (Tania); his grandchildren, Jacob Campitelli (Vanessa), Thomas Martens, Grant, Charlie Glufling, Cora and Nolan Martens; his great grandchild Atticus; and his brother Dr. William Martens.
