She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno E. Steinborn and Velda Steinborn (Reaktenwalt); her brothers, Bruno F. Steinborn and Birt A. Steinborn; and her friend Barb Sawicki.

She is survived by: her husband Edward G. Sadowski of Chicago; her brother Bransfore "Brad" Steinborn; her niece Cheryl Abel; her nephews, David Steinborn (LaVon) and Michael Steinborn (Kim); and her brother-in-law Raymond Sadowski (Helen). She is also survived by her brothers and niece.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the VFW, American Legion, Emmanuel Church UCC, or Zilber Family Hospice.
