She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Nelson and Vera Nelson; her husband Andy Turnipseed; her former husband Kenneth Umland; and her sons, Kenneth Umland, Jr. and Scott Umland.

She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Turnipseed, Robert Umland and Dan Umland (Doreen); her grandchildren, Johnathan Williams and Samantha Williams; and her sisters-in-law, Irline Nelson and Carol Nelson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
