He is survived by: his wife Jean Vesper of Watertown; his children, Christopher Vesper of Watertown and Courtney Vesper (Robert Farrell) of Cross Plains; his granddaughter Ahana Behlke of Watertown; and his siblings, Ruth Wild (Richard) of Jefferson, Sue Fadroski (Allen) of Jefferson, Dan Vesper of Jefferson, Dave Vesper (Ann) of Johnson Creek, Deirdre "Pi" Vesper (Bruce Moll) of Johnson Creek, Denise Vesper (Rich) of Jefferson, Dolores Vesper (Matt) of Johnson Creek and Alan Vesper (Tammy) of Johnson Creek. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

“I was stunned by the news about mike. I have known mike for about 12 years helping him with the supplies at luther prep. I can honestly say he ran a tight ship. When i would walk in his office or walk in the storage areas, everything was properly labelled and put away. There was no schools that was as organized as luther prep. Mike was a get it done man. He had a great, kind, heart and seemed to let the big things just not bother him much. I will deeply miss our talks, lunches, and friendship!”
