Mary J. Nilsen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2024, at the age of 83, Mary J. Nilsen of Watertown, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Mary's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mary has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Kotchevar and Mayme Kotchevar (Lobe); her husband Edwin Nilsen; her granddaughter Katelyn; and her brother James Kotchevar.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Nilsen (Pandora) of McKinney, Texas, Mark Nilsen of Grants Pass, Oregon, Renee Nilsen of Phoenix, Arizona and Terri Singleton (Billy) of Dousman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard's Catholic Church (114 S Church St, Watertown, WI 53094). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
