She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Polensky and Norma Polensky; her son Michael Zastrow; her siblings, Jean Schliewe, Shirley Polensky, Russell Polensky and Robert Polensky; and her stepfather Harvey Miller.

She is survived by: her husband Norman Zastrow; her sister Arlis Schmeichel; and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Schliewe, Gordon Zastrow, Eileen McKenna and Shari Meyers. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
