It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine E. Baneck (Watertown, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 24, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her friend We Have; her parents, William F. Wendt and Lydia H. Filenius Wendt; her daughters, Renee Louise and Devonne Ann; her grandmother Mathilda Wendt; her aunt Emma Filenius Traeder; her brother Billy; her husband Ernest; her brother William A. Wendt (Lucille); her daughters, Renee Baneck Tantala and Devonne Baneck (Jeff Sainio); and her grandchildren, Johann Frederick Kisaame and Lydia Louise Nabirye (Earl Cookson).
In lieu of flowers, the family will appreciate donations to the WELCA (c/o Immanuel Lutheran Church), Lutheran World Relief, Bread for the World, Heifer International, Habitat for Humanity, and the Concord Historical Society.
