He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Tietz and Valeska Tietz; his in-laws, Alfred and Mildred Kohls; his siblings-in-law, Harvey Kohls, Harold Winter, Bill Fregin, Joyce Kohls and Sharleen Winter; and his niece Sheri Kaul.
He is survived by: his pets, Silver and Queen; his wife Karen; his children, Rhonda Boyd (Bruce), Randy Tietz (Tammy) of Watertown and Russell Tietz of Watertown; his grandchildren, Christian Tietz of Watertown, Jacob Tietz of Watertown, Angela Tietz of Watertown and Brandon Boyd of Watertown; his brother Warren Tietz (Sandy); and his in-laws, Jeanne Fregin, Nancy Leech (Dick) and Allan Kohls (Shirley).
Memorials may be made out to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lebanon.
