We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2024, at the age of 78, Kurt Grunewald (Watertown, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd and Margie; his parents-in-law, Beverly Woelfle and Clarence Woelfle; his brother Fred; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Grunewald and Michael Braun.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Woelfle; his children, Rebecca, Stephen, Reverend Matthew (Rebecca), Daniel and Benjamin; his grandchildren, Jacob Bush (Elise), Luke Steinberg, Jonathan Steinberg, Mackencia Steinberg, Mackenson Steinberg, Joshua Steinberg, Chloe Grunewald, Andrew Steinberg, Jagger Grunewald, Aaron Grunewald, David Grunewald and Isaac Grunewald; his great grandchildren, Anita and Henrik Bush; his siblings, Eleanor Braun and Frank Grunewald; and his siblings-in-law, Vicky Grunewald, Ann Anastasio and Dr. Michael Anastasio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates memorials to be designated to St. Mark's Lutheran School.
