She was predeceased by: her husband John McFarland; her daughter Dianne (Richard Bady); her parents, George Schleicher and Agnes Schleicher; and her siblings, Margie (Lloyd Grunewald), Marie (Robert Krueger), Elizabeth, Charles and Francis (Zickerman).

She is survived by: her children, Jerry (Connie), Elizabeth (Thomas Pirkel), Linda (Steven Kauffeld), Hannah, Monica, Daniel (Kathleen Nelson) and Laura Christian.
