It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Rosenow (Watertown, Wisconsin), born in Long Prairie, Minnesota, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Rosenow and Rosetta Rosenow (Draeger). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean; his children, David, JoAnn Schowalter (Terry), Michael, Susan Schmitt (Daniel) and Jaime Caudle (William); his grandchildren, Brandon, David Jr., Brooke (Tom), Bryce (Katie), Karissa, Kaylin, Riley, Colton, Tera (Mike), Courtney (Joel), Carley (Riley), Austin, Ally and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Zoe, Ella, Lucy, Ivey, Reed and Kali; and his siblings, James (Susan), Douglas (Judy), Curtis (Jean) and Vernette Wuestenburg (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He and Barbara were active members of the community and were always generous in the donation of their time and talents.

“I worked with "Rosie" on many special projects and missions. We were both on the SEAOR-62 training platform for the EC-121 Warning Star. We set up SEAOR-62 maintenance trailers at Kwang-Ju Air Base, Korea, and were part of a two plane task force sent from the U.S. to participate in the highly classified Son-Tay Prison Raid in North Viet-Nam on 21 Nov, 1970. He attended most of our 552nd Electronics Maintenance Squadron reunions held at McClellan AFB, CA. Jim "Uncle Waldo" Bleecker.”
