With heavy hearts, we announce the death of JoAnn A. Muehrcke of Watertown, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 9, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Medenwaldt and Gertrude Medenwaldt (Klawitter); her husband Timothy Cooney; and her siblings, Merlin Medenwaldt and Verla Westphal.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Muehrcke (Cindy Brim) and John Muehrcke; her stepsons, Robert Muehrcke Jr., Allan Muehrcke (Sheri), Conrad Muehrcke (Nick), Derek Muehrcke (Laura) and Eric Muehrcke (Carol); her grandchildren, Elise Muehrcke, Andrea Rice, Kira Schenk, Alyssa Kowalski, Susan Muehrcke, Maria Muehrcke, Brian Muehrcke, Allison Muehrcke, David Muehrcke, Tatum Brim, Vincent Brim, Max Brim, Ella Muehrcke and Isaac Muehrcke; her siblings, Jim Medenwaldt (Marie), Bill Medenwaldt (Irene), Lyle Medenwaldt (Patti), Sandy Vogel (Guy), John Medenwaldt (EiIleen) and Laura Radland; and her pet Izzy. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She had a passion for charitable work leading many as the President of the Muehrcke Family Foundation and President of the West Suburban Hospital Auxiliary.
