It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ellen Merkt (Watertown, Wisconsin), who passed away on December 15, 2018, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Mayer and Jeanette Mayer (Johnson); her son Tony Merkt; and her sister Cindy Mayer. She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Jr. of Gillett, WI, Joseph (Rebecca) of Watertown, Benjamin (Amy) of Watertown and Caleb of Watertown; her stepdaughter Lisa of Mountain, WI; and her siblings, Butch Mayer (Hazel), Jerry Mayer (Gail), Kent Mayer (Helen), Terry Mayer, Steve Mayer (Larry) and Barb Jagow (Wayne). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
