It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice B. Pirkel of Watertown, Wisconsin, born in Brookfield, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Zillmer and Laurina Zillmer (Mueller); her sister Gladys Schroeder (Donald); and her brothers-in-law, Robert Meschke and Gary Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Detert (Steve Harrass), Mark Pirkel (Jenifer), Edward Pirkel (Rhonda Borchardt) and Paul Pirkel (Dawn); her grandchildren, Craig, Tiarra, Gabriella, Stephanie, Kyle, Sammi Jo, Sara, Jay, Amber, Vince, Kodi and Kortnie; and her sister Alice Meschke (Richard Pirkel). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Rainbow Hospice Care in Jan's name would be appreciated by the family.
