He is survived by: his parents, James Yoshino and Mildred "Micki" Yoshino; his son Jakob Yoshino; his sister Jessica Kaufman (Adam); his grandmother Yuri Yoshino O'Connor; his daughter Valerie Yoshino; his nieces, Violet and Ivy Kaufman; his close friend Kaye Piotrowski; and also, Billy and Joe Piotrowski.
