It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Pirkel of Watertown, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James A. Pirkel to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Pirkel and Adela Pirkel (Wendt); his son Lance Pirkel; his sister Janice Foti; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Peters, Erma and Raymond Lewandowski.

He is survived by: his wife Mitch; his daughter Lori Wegner (Randy); his granddaughters, Kendall Huebner (Michael) and Molly Butler (Brandon); his siblings, Jane Raether (Bob), Judy Atkinson (Matt) and Jeff Pirkel; and his siblings-in-law, Caryl Peters, Byron Foster (Kathy) and Tom Foti.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Christ United Methodist Church in Watertown or the Watertown Humane Society.
