He was predeceased by: his daughter-in-law Patricia Draeger; his sons, Donald and Danny Schaper; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Draeger and Bruce Ebert.
He is survived by: his children, Herbert Sr. and Jennifer Gensch (Robert); his grandchildren, Karissa, Tiffany, Shawna, Ryan, Tyler, Zackary, Crystal, Jonathan and Cassandra; his sister Joyce Frey (Marvin); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ebert, Marie Draeger and Judy Conlan (Steve). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
